Smart Cater
Privacy policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
Smart Cater lets you order catering from local kitchens. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email, phone number and company, when you order or create an account.
- Delivery details: the address, the spot you pin on the map, door notes and delivery instructions.
- What you order, dietary and allergy notes, and payment status.
- Payment screenshots you upload as proof of a transfer. We never see or store card numbers.
- If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple: your name, email and an account ID from that service. We don't get your password.
- Basic technical data needed to keep you signed in and the site secure.
Why we use it
- To pass your order to the kitchen you chose, and deliver it.
- To send you order updates, receipts and payment reminders by email.
- To keep records the kitchen needs for invoicing and tax.
We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Who sees it
The kitchen you order from sees your order and contact details. Our email provider sends emails on our behalf. Address search uses OpenStreetMap services. Our servers are in Sydney.
Your choices
- You can update your details or delete your account from your account settings.
- You can ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing asher@astralune.ai.
- Kitchens may need to keep order and invoice records for as long as tax law requires.
